Who are you?

We're Ed and Anne. While Ed is your primary photographer, Anne can often be found assisting and lending her eye! We've just opened but we'll add more about us soon!


What types of photography & services do you offer?

As of this writing - we're still getting our feet under us! We're focusing on our senior clientele for the moment while building our branding and family offerings!

Our Senior offerings are shot in natural light. That said, we do love a good studio session... stay tuned!


What areas do you serve?

We cover an area roughly north to Harrisburg, PA and south to Harpers Ferry, WV.

We cover the Gettysburg, PA area to the east and we typically don't stray much further than Clear Spring, MD to the west!

What happens if it rains or we need to reschedule?

Life happens! Should you need to reschedule, we just ask for as much notice as possible.
We always hope for great weather, but if it rains, we'll reach out and simply reschedule!

How do you edit / retouch?

Generally, we try to take a lighter, more natural touch. We much prefer to maintain natural skin tones in our editing. 

While retouching, temporary blemishes, bruises, bug bites, etc - are easily fixed! We do typically soften our images a bit, this is mostly a consequence of the incredibly high resolution of modern digital cameras and their sensors!

If there's a particular area of concern, please let us know - we're sensitive to such things and always try to accommodate requests.

Do you sell prints?

We provide a print release with all of our sessions allowing you to print wherever you like. However, we can only guarantee quality prints with our preferred printer.

That said, we have a professional boutique printer that we prefer who delivers absolutely beautiful prints. While they may cost a bit more, they're certainly worth it. When you order prints through us, we only charge what our print lab charges us. 

Our wall art options are always printed with our preferred print lab!

How can I pay?

When you book as session of any sort through us - we'll send you a contract and invoice that will allow you to e-sign and pay on our website. Payment is due upon booking.

Who can come with me to my session?

We want you to be comfortable, comfort translates to great photos! You're welcome to bring a parent, grandparent, sibling, friend or all of them!  We do require at least one parent or guardian be present with all senior sessions.


Where should I get my photos

While this is a personal decision, we're more than happy to suggest locations during our consultation based on the type of locale you prefer. We can recommend an urban setting in any number of local cities. One has multiple options in Michaux, various state and federal parks and lakes. We're fortunate that there's something for almost every type of session in our immediate area!

We LOVE hybrid (city/other) sessions. We try to be generous with our time - when you book a two hour session, we start the clock at our appointed start time and if you've chosen multiple locations we include up to an additional 30 minutes of travel time between them.


What about hair and makeup?

We don't include or offer hair and makeup packages at this time. 

Our recommendation is simple, you do you! We recognize that everyone has a stylistic preference - some may prefer a lighter touch while others prefer to go all out! Our seasons package also gives you the option to switch it up between sessions! 



What should I wear?

This is a highly personal choice. Our very best advice is simple - feeling comfortable in your chosen wardrobe is paramount!

That said, our Seasons package gives you THREE hours of session time across two seasons giving you plenty of options. Remember to consider the type of session you're looking for when choosing your wardrobe.

As an example, perhaps you've chosen a hybid summer session with half of your time in the city and half in a more nature-centric locale. One could choose something a bit trendier/unique to you for the city and something more timeless for the second half of your summer session while still having an upcoming fall session with an entirely different wardrobe!









We do have a few small things we recommend avoiding -

  • Neon & excessively bright colors as these can lend a color cast to your skin that can be hard to correct.
  • Clothing with large logos/writing. (This doesn't include school branded attire!)
  • Heavily / busily patterned clothing - this can introduce moire effects we'd both like to avoid!






How many images will I

There are a lot of variables that go into such an answer. Length of the session, location(s), clothing changes, retouched or not, and even the photographer's style. We try to give you as much variety as possible!

Generally speaking, we tend to deliver between 35-50 fully edited and retouched photos per two hour session.


How do I get my yearbook picture?

This depends on where you go to school. There are several schools in our area that contract with or recommend a particular local photographer or national company. Others have formal days in the school itself. Usually these are free or done for a nominal fee. 

Essentially - these are two separate processes.  That said, whether you'd prefer to work with us or another photographer - we just want you to get great photos and have a good time!

Do you offer mini-sessions?

We do not. For our seniors, we offer one senior portrait session package with transparent pricing and the option to buy add-ons such as framed wall art and prints from our preferred professional lab. 

We plan to add additional printed product options very soon.

What is your social media
policy?

We may use several images from a paid senior session on our Instagram and/or Facebook accounts for promotional purposes.

Additionally, we may include several images from your session in our website galleries.

We always appreciate being tagged in your social media posts, but we do not tag our seniors. We only ever refer to our seniors by their first name only and won't reference your school or any other identifying information.
